Altar DecorationAdd to the life of our parish by helping to coordinate the decoration of the inside and outside of our church. Altar GuildThe Altar Guild provides service to the church by helping to maintain the cleanliness of the worship space. Contact Joan Castagneto through the parish office at office@littletoncatholic.org or by calling 978-486-4100 x10. Altar ServersThe altar servers assist Fr. Casey at Mass and other liturgical celebrations. Altar servers must have received First Communion and completed third grade. Training is provided. Contact John Hough at youth@littletoncatholic.org or by calling 978-486-4100 x16. Baptismal RobesVolunteers are needed to purchase materials, sew, stencil, and embroider baptismal robes for infants. Contact the parish office at 978-486-4100. Charity Ornament Gift TreeThe gift tree allows parishioners to give the gift of a donation to charity made in a loved one's name. Duties involve matching ornaments with envelopes, hanging ornaments, and restocking the tree. Contact the parish office at 978-486-4100. Children's Liturgy of the WordChildren listen to and learn about the Gospel reading in an age-appropriate way during the 10:00 a.m. Sunday Mass. Volunteers are needed to act as aides and monitors. Eucharistic Ministers (EMHC)Eucharistic ministers, or "Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion" assist with distribution of Holy Communion at Mass. Confirmed Catholics are appointed by the pastor. Golf CommitteeThe committee plans the annual golf tournament, knowledge or proficiency of the sport is not required to join the committee! Home VisitationThe volunteers for Saint Anne Home Visitation Ministry are a family in Christ. When our loved ones are ill or incapacitated, the Lord has spoken to our Eucharistic ministers to bring the Eucharist, comfort, and compassion to those who are not able to participate in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Lazarus HouseA group of parents and teenagers from Saint Anne Parish visits Lazarus House Ministries in Lawrence on a monthly basis. They cook and serve a meal or those in need. If you would like to join us, please contact John Hough at youth@littletoncatholic.org or 978-486-4100 x16. LectorsLectors proclaim the word of God at parish liturgies. Lectors are appointed by the pastor, but expressions of interest are welcome. Please contact Father Casey at office@littletoncatholic.org. Loaves and FishesVolunteers are needed to distribute food, stock shelves, work in the clothing room, help with the newsletter, and unload trucks of food. They meet during the months of September through June, once per month, in the parish hall. Neighborhood SupperSuppers are held every Tuesday at the Congregational Church on King Street in Littleton and are staffed with volunteers from rotating church groups. The Saint Anne supper is held on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Contact Kathy Emberley through the parish office at 978-486-4100 or at office@littletoncatholic.org Nursing Home VolunteersEvery Tuesday, a group of volunteers offer spiritual support to residents at Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley. Parish Pastoral CouncilThe Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) assists the pastor in his leadership role of planning, organizing, initiating, promoting, coordinating, and service activities within the parish. The PPC meets every other month from September through June. You can contact the PPC by sending email to ppc@stannelittleton.org. You can also reach out to any of the PPC members or contact the parish office at 978-486-4100. Prayer ChainVolunteers are welcome to join the prayer chain. No meetings are required. Upon receiving a request, prayer chain members will pray individually for the intention. We are looking for people, or teams of people, to serve as a religious education catechists, aides, or monitors. Respect Life MinistryThis group promotes the sanctity of life from conception to natural death. They are involved in a number of activities. Saint Vincent de PaulThe Society of Saint Vincent de Paul leads women and men to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to the needy and suffering in our community. Sunshine ClubSunshine Club is a group of Sodalists who volunteer their time once a month to provide bingo and goodies to local senior citizens. Blessed Virgin Mary's SodalitySaint Anne's Sodality is an organization for women of the parish who are 18 years or older. Its main purpose is to foster discipleship in Christ by devotion through the Blessed Virgin Mary. Monthly meetings are usually the third Wednesday of the month from September through May. Welcome MinistryAs the name says, the main function of this ministry is to welcome parishioners into St. Anne as they join us to celebrate the Word of God and to provide them with assistance during the Liturgy. Youth MinistryVolunteers are needed to join the Youth Ministry Coordinating Team, serve as Catechists, chaperones, and serve on the Youth Ministry Resource Team.
