Living a Joyful Life

Living a Joyful Life - 2021 Stewardship Renewal

Pope Francis has said “Joy springs from a grateful heart” – and gratitude is what stewardship is all about! Gratitude, joy and stewardship go hand‐in‐hand! Joy is something that can last forever and it is directly related to the amount of our lives that we turn over to Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:16‐18 encapsulates this year’s theme perfectly:

“Always be joyful; pray constantly; and for all things give thanks; this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.”

Because of the COVID‐19 restrictions that are in place, we will not be conducting our Annual Stewardship Renewal in the usual way this year.  Like most everything else, many aspects will be done virtually.  A big word of thanks to the Stewardship Council for thinking outside the box for this year's Renewal!
Instead of the usual renewal materials, you will receive a stewardship-themed newsletter in early November.
We will still have two Witness Talk Weekends in November where you will hear the inspiring stories of fellow parishioners and how they are trying to more fully live out their Catholic Faith – and a life of Stewardship.
We will be able to (virtually) attend Leisa Anslinger's presentation to our Faith Community on November 18th (more details soon!).
And, instead of commitment Sunday, we will be asking everyone to prayerfully reflect on the areas of PRAYER, SERVICE and SHARING in their own lives and make a personal commitment to God for the coming year.
